COLTON BLY
 _______
Born and raised in Bradford, PA, Colton Bly has made a significant impact on hundreds of players, families, and coaches with his extensive knowledge and talent for improving soccer clubs at both grassroots and professional levels.
While studying health and physical education, Colton's engagement with local soccer clubs began, and he started his coaching education with US Soccer at 19. After earning his degree, Bly held Director positions throughout his early 20s with clubs in Pittsburgh and Buffalo, creating player-centered environments that led to substantial improvements in the teams and programs under his watch.
Holding two US Soccer 'A' Licenses, Colton is in an exclusive group, placing him in the top 0.1% of educated and qualified soccer coaches in the country. At just 28 years old, he made history as the youngest head coach in American professional soccer when he was appointed Interim Head Coach of Rochester's Flower City Union on May 2nd, 2022 after their 1-5 start to the season. Under his leadership, Union clinched their first trophy in club history, defeating New Jersey Alliance to secure the NISA Northeast Independent Cup. Other achievements include coaching against MLS team D.C. United in the 3rd Round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, holding them scoreless for 72 minutes, as well as clinching the club's first home victory against Maryland Bobcats after previously being defeated by them 6-1 prior to Bly taking over.
Realizing his dream of launching a soccer club in his hometown, Colton gave life to the Twin Tiers Soccer Club in 2021. While he made an indelible mark in professional soccer, Colton has since turned his focus towards starting a family and nurturing the youth game. He continues to impart his knowledge as a US Soccer Federation Instructor, teaching the National B Coaching License.
